Drayton Manor Theme Park and Zoo
Come and visit Drayton Manor Theme Park and Zoo that's sits in the grounds of the former Drayton Manor, in Drayton Bassett, Staffordshire, England.
The park covers 280 acres of which about 113 acres are in use, and hosts about 1.5 million people each year. You can walk around the park go on the adrenaline-induced rides, Drayton Manor is the home Thomas Land after all the excitement of the park you can go for a relaxing walk thought the zoo and see some of the animals from around the world.
Foxfield Railway
Foxfield Railway is a great place to visit to eat, drink and shop and you can even get to drive a train. The railway was built in 1892-1893 to provide a link to the national railway network for the Foxfield Colliery, on the Stoke-Derby main line.
The railway itself was built by local labour provided by the North Staffordshire Railway employees at weekends and supervised by the NSR (North Staffordshire Railway) foreman plate layer Noah Stanier. The railway was built with second hand material from the NSR.
